SHS Lady Tigers beat Hill City and Osborne

Body
The Stockton Lady Tigers picked up two more wins last week beating both Hill City and Osborne in the triangular held in Osborne. The matches were scheduled to be played on Tuesday, but due to a power outage caused by the storm which blew through that evening, the triangular was finished on Wednesday.

Tigers bring home medals from XC meet in Phillipsburg

The Tiger Cross Country runners brought home four medals from the cross country meet held at the golf course in Phillipsburg last Thursday. Cheyenne Hoeting placed 11th in the girls’ varsity race, Mia Odle finished second and Chrissy Jurgens came in 10th in the JV girls’ race, and Zach Chandler crossed the finish line of the JV boys’ race in 13th place.

SHS Tigers defeated at Oberlin

A pass from Max Moffet to Emerson Lowry were the only points the Stockton Tigers put on the scoreboard last Friday night at Oberlin. The district contest found the Red Devils defeating Stockton by the score of 54-6.

SJH Lady Tigers defeat visiting Hill City girls

Stockton Junior High hosted the Hill City Ringnecks last Thursday in volleyball actionwiththeLady Tigers defeating the visitors in both the A- (21-25, 25-20, 15-6) and B-Team (25-22, 25-10) contests. The C-Team match was an exciting one, but Stockton fell to the Lady Ringnecks in three sets, 25-20, 24-26, 13-25.

KSHSAA releases 2024 & 2025 district football assignments

The Kansas High School Activities Association has released district football assignments for the 2024 and 2025 football seasons. Stockton will compete in the 8-Player — Division I, District 8 group along with Atwood-Rawlins County, Hill City, Hoxie, Oberlin-Decatur Community, and St.
