The Stockton Lady Tigers Volleyball Team traveled to Natoma for the season-opening triangular with Chase and Natoma. The Lady Tigers, who return a talented group of seniors, took care of business, defeating Chase 25-8, 25-6, and Natoma, 25-10, 25-7.

The Stockton Junior High Volleyball and Football Teams will be on the road to WaKeeney this Thursday to take on the Golden Eagles. The Lady Tigers, who are coached by Danielle Muir and Laura Moffet, will face off against Trego at 4:00 p.m.

Youth 17 and younger, who possess a valid deer permit, may hunt during this special deer season only (Saturday, September 7th through Sunday, September 15th) while under the immediate supervision of an adult 18 or older.

On Saturday, the Stockton High School Cross Country Team will open its season in Hays in a meet hosted by TMP. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. Coach Janet Kuhlmann has just two harriers on the roster, junior Cheyenne Hoeting, and sophomore Mia Odle.

The Stockton Tigers will be at home for their season opener, hosting the Logan/Palco Trojans on the gridiron. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
