Last Monday the RoCo Softball girls hosted their final games of the regular season with Minneapolis and Beloit coming to town. RoCo played Minneapolis in first game, falling 17-2.
Kaelyn Means and Rylan Basart each won gold medals at the Grizzly Invitational track meet held last Friday at Rock Hill High School in Mankato. Means placed first in the Discus with a toss of 116’4”, while Basart won the Shot Put for the first time this season with a PR of 43’10”.
At the Logan High School Invitational track meet held last Tuesday, Delany Snyder and Jonathan Hamel captured gold medals for the Tigers. Snyder won the 100M Dash, while Hamel, a freshman, placed first in the 3200M Run with his time of 10:55.13 a new personal record for him.
Several members of the Stockton Junior High Track Team traveled to Plainville last Tuesday for a meet. Bringing home individual gold medals were Ashlyn Hahn (2), Hunter Howell, Ava Dix, Brin Muir, and Karleigh Horn.
The RoCo Softball Team was defeated in both games of the doubleheader played last Tuesday against TMP in Hays. RoCo lost the first game 5-1, and and fell in the second one 14-3.
A limited number of Stockton Junior High track athletes attended the meet in Northern Valley held recently. Reese Taylor, Haden Hahn, and Carolina Northup each brought home individual gold medals, with several others placing.
The RoCo girls were on the road to Ellsworth last Friday where they dropped two games to the hosts, 14-3 and 21-10. This Tuesday RoCo was at home for the final time this season, hosting Minneapolis.
