The Stockton Junior High Volleyball Team will open its season next Monday, August 30 when the Lady Tigers host Ellis and Trego in a triangular. Action is set to begin at 4:00 p.m.

The Stockton High School Football Team will travel to WaKeeney on Friday to compete in a Jamboree with Oberlin, Quinter and the host Golden Eagles. The scrimmages will begin at 7:00 p.m.

The Stockton Lady Tigers Volleyball Team will open the 2021 season with a junior varsity tournament in Phillipsburg this Saturday. The matches will begin at 9:00 a.m.

It's time to stock up on shotgun shells and get in some shooting practice as the annual dove season begins Wednesday, September 1st, running until November 29th. The daily bag limit of 15 applies to mourning and white-winged doves, single species or in combination.

Congratulations to team, Good Times, for winning this summer's Adult League season-ending tournament. The group played a great couple games to win against team, Dirty Birds. Also playing this year were the following teams: Hahn, Muir, and Mound Pounders.

Stockton Rec hosted its 2nd annual golf tournament on Saturday, July 31, 2021. It was a great turnout with 20 registered teams competing.

THE TIGER SHARKS’ 10 & UNDER FREESTYLE RELAY TEAM was finally able to get together for a photo with their medals after having placed first at the Championship Meet held at McCook, Neb., July 17th.

An addition needs to be made to the Tiger Sharks Swim Team results from the South Qualifying Meet in Alma, Neb., which appeared in the Thursday, July 22nd edition of the Sentinel. While typing the results, we inadvertantly skipped over Jefferson Creighton’s results.

KATHY CREIGHTON and her German Shorthaired Pointer, Rocky, participated in the Ellis County Fair Dhog Show July 9th. They received a Purple in Showmanship and an Overall Champion ribbon in Obedience.
