THIS YESTERYEAR PICTURE appeared in the Stockton Sentinel 30 years ago and features four generations of the Wanamaker family. Howard and Grace Wanamaker owned Wanamaker Cleaners, which was located on the south side of the 500 block of Main Street. The business was housed in what is now the east part of the Blessed Beginnings Daycare. Pictured are Howard Wanamaker, Kerri (McKinnis) DeRosier holding her daughter Sarah, and Janice Elaine (Wanamaker) McKinnis.

IN FEBRUARY OF 1991, members of the community performed the play, “Spirit.” This scene depicts four poker-playing hooligans of Happy Hollow reacting to Dobbins winning the game— and eight dollars!
