Prairie Heritage Auction, ACL, Plainville, will have a Collectible Auction this Sunday, May 5th, starting at 9:15 a.m. An Open House of the auction items will be on Saturday, May 4th, from 10:00 a.m.

The St. Thomas Catholic Church, through donations by the Altar Society, Knights of Columbus and Parish Council, is sponsoring the movie “Cabrini” at the Nova Theatre in Stockton for this weekend, Friday, May 3rd, Saturday, May 4th, and Sunday, May 5th, at 7:00 p.m. each evening. The cost is $5.

The 2024 Northwest Kansas Agritourism Informational Meeting is being held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16th at Brief-Space in Hays, Kansas.

The Red Line Cruisers Car Club has finalized plans for its 8th Annual Cruise Night and Car Show, which is shaping up to be another great weekend. The event is scheduled for Cruise Night on Friday, May 3, and the Car Show on Saturday, May 4.

and Real Estate crew of Susan Stahl, Sheila Hachmeister, Lora Weigel, Paula Glick, Kelly Lowry, Tammy Werner, Stephanie Nuss, and Gwendolyn Hitchcock will be working the event, with a food stand on site on Saturday.

The menus for the week of Monday, April 29, are as follows: Monday— Smothered chicken, parslied potatoes, green beans, bread, mandarin oranges. Tuesday—Pork cube steak, stewed tomatoes, bread, tropical fruit. Wednesday—Beef pot roast, parslied potatoes, seasoned carrots, bread, pineapple.

Week of April 29 Monday—French toast sticks, fruit, juice, milk. Tuesday—Pop Tart, Go-Gurt, fruit, juice, milk.
