Body Starting this weekend, Friday, April 19th, the Nova Theatre in Stockton will move to its summer movie show time schedule with all three movies on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to start at 7:00 p.m. The movie this weekend is “Arthur the King” starring Mark Wahlberg, rated PG-13.

Body The Stockton Food Pantry is open next Tuesday, April 23rd, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Food Pantry is located at 602 Main Street in the alley behind the Main Street Christian Church. The Pantry is discontinuing the fresh produce until further notice.

Body The Stockton Grade School 2024-2025 preschool enrollment is on Friday, April 19th. The enrollment for the preschool services starts with the three-year-olds at 8:30 a.m.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, April 15, are as follows: Monday— Taco salad with lettuce and tomato, chips, tropical fruit. Tuesday— Oven-baked chicken, parslied potatoes, pasta salad with veggies, bread, applesauce.

Body Monday—Pancake bites, fruit, juice, milk. Tuesday—Go-Gurt, Pop-Tart, fruit, juice, milk.

Body The Stockton Sentinel is asking for the SHS seniors or their parents for an 8x10 framed photo for the annual window display. Please drop off your pictures at the high school office before the end of April, so we can carry on this tradition!

Body The Stockton USD 271 Board of Education will host a Focus Group meeting on Thursday, April 18th, at 1:45 p.m. in the District Office (421 Main Street).

Body A garage sale will be at the Solomon Valley Manor’s old facility (315 South Ash in Stockton) this weekend, Saturday, April 13th from (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and on Sunday April 14th from (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Body Mark it down on your calendar! The SHS Choir and Band will present ”Disney Favorites,” on Friday, April 12th, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school gym. Then the K-5 Music Program will be held on Tuesday, April 16th, at 7:00 p.m.

Body The Rooks County Historical Society and Museum, located at 921 S. Cedar Street, Stockton, Kansas, extends a public invitation to its Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 21st, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
