Most Christians are familiar with Matthew 13 and the Parable of the Four Soils. Here, we see Jesus tell an immense crowd of farmers who planted seeds, and some were scattered on a footpath, some on shallow, rocky soil, others among thorns, and some on fertile soil.

This was not entirely a good week but the heavy wet snow and little ice balls brought moisture. The baby calf, born early in the morning of the blizzard, survived after spending the night in the vet's warming room, and his mama was happy to take him back the next morning.

The Stockton High School Striders who will entertain the crowds during the halftime of the sports games for the Tigers during the 20242025 school year are Saj Snyder, Karleigh Horn, Camille Lowry, Mia Odle, Shae Yohon, Serenity Carpenter, Meredith Gasper, Aidyen Kerr, and Lyric Snyder.

The 2025-2026 Stockton Junior High School Stuco representatives have been announced. They are Harper Lowry, Corbyn Glendening, Remy Muir, Addie Dix, Tessa Look, Omree Dibble, Henry Berkley, Evelynn Hilbrink, and Bryah Stithem. Congratulations!

St. Patrick's Day was celebrated this week. I am partial to this holiday since I was a Chapman 'Fighting Irish' graduate. I assume there was wearing of the green, drinking green beer, and planting potatoes.
