HORSE'S MOUTH. After the Governor put out Executive Order 20-16 on Saturday, March 28, it seemed to differ from her EO 20-14 from March 24 leaving our church, and many others, scrambling to find alternatives to meeting in person.

The Kansas Department of Transportation began or resumed work recently on several road construction projects across northwest Kansas. Project work and locations include:

THE STOCKTON SENTINEL has set out its old newspaper stand in front of the office so people can keep up with the news. Please note that the coin pay doesn’t work, but we know that the “honor system” in Stockton does! There is a basket inside to pay for the newspaper.

How big is your God? If you were asked that question just out of the blue you may very well say something like, “I serve a very big God. He can do anything.” The question then would be, how is that big God impacting your life? How is that big God impacting your community?

The Stockton Fire Department answered two fire calls on Saturday afternoon, April 4th. One was a call for mutual aid by Damar to help with an outof-control control burn by that city’s lagoons. The other afternoon call was at 1880 B Road on the Leon-ard Dix property.

Simple acts of kindness and inspiration are coming from people who are reaching out to one another by acting in creative ways to uplift the spirits of those around them in their own special style through laughter, singing, sewing, etc. during the COVID-19 pandemic.
