Special Stockton School Board meeting held

The following article is taken from the unapproved minutes of the May 7th Stockton Unified School District Board of Education meeting.)

A special meeting of the Stockton Unified School Distict No. 271 Board of Education was held on Thursday, May 7th in the District Office at 5:30 p.m. with the following present: board members Linda Conyac and Mark Billinger, and superintendent Bill Lowry in the board room, with board members Aftan Tso, Jesse Stithem, Stephanie Niblock, Daphne Plumer, LeAnn Dix, high school principal Gary McCown and grade school principal Stacey Green via Zoom.

President Linda Conyac called the meeting to order before a motion was made by Conyac to approve the agenda; Daphne Plumer seconded the motion and the motion carried 7-0.

A motion was made by Linda Conyac to accept the resignation of Kaci Nichols as high school volleyball and high school softball coach. The motion was seconded by Stephanie Niblock. Motion carried 7-0.

A motion was made by Linda Conyac to approve supplemental contracts as presented. Stephanie Niblock seconded the motion. Motion carried 7-0. The meeting was then adjourned at 5:37 p.m.
