Body HUDSON MUIR and his bucket calf Star took part in Thursday afternoon’s Beef Show at the Rooks County Free Fair. The name Star was chosen because the calf is so dark and it has the marking of a star.

Body Condolences to the family of Wilbur Perry Cotton, age 99, who passed away August 4 at Medicalodges of Great Bend. He was born April 3, 1921, in Woodston, the son of Perry and Blanche (Dibble) Cotten. Wilbur graduated from Woodston High School in 1939.
