Our family had two girls participating in the Kansas State High School Track Meet this past weekend in Wichita. Niece Hailey Sharp, a junior for 3A Riley County, placed 12th in the two-mile run. Niece Kolbie Bartlett, a freshman, placed 8th in the 4x800 meter relay team for 2A Bennington. Kolbie placed 8th in open 400.

More than 4,700 Kansas State University students earned semester honors for their academic performance in the spring 2021 semester. Students earning a grade point average for the semester of 3.75 or above on at least 12 graded credit hours receive semester honors along with commendations from their deans.
