Body The meeting was brought to order at 6:30 on Monday, June 21st, 2021. Roll Call was taken and answered by 21 members with some Show and Tell.

Body On Monday, July 5th, Dan Melton brought Steve’s Ford Ranger pickup back to the farm. Dan’s daughter, Daniele, and roommate, Catlin, had borrwed it but both recently purchased vehicles. Dan came to spend time digging musk thistle and also helped Terry Odle unload a couple tractors.

Body HALLE GORRELL OF TOPEKA, along with her parents, Josh and Robyn Gorrell, enjoyed spending the afternoon at the Stockton pool last month. Not only did she enjoy swimming but she also showed one of her dance moves off the high board.

Body STOCKTON FFA OFFICERS (from left) Jolee Sterling, Coryn Hahn and Laci Green recently provided a welcome treat to the harvest crews coming into the Farmers Union Coop in Stockton. Those dumping their wheat were treated to a bag of cookies from the large box dellivered by the girls.

Body The Stockton Fire Department was called out at 3:00 p.m. to 13 and R Road on Friday, July 9th when some wheat stubble caught on fire. A malfunction on one of the machines caused some sparks, which set the field on fire.

Body SAVY GRAY OF STOCKTON attended the State Our Diamond Miss Pageant on June 19th and 20th in Chickasha, Okla. Savy was chosen as the Kansas State Covergirl for 2021. She will be attending Nationals July 9th-14th in Chickasha.

Body FISHING IN THE PARK! A warm day, along with water in the creek, provided some fishing fun in Stockton’s Lower City Park recently..

Body Rooks County Health Center (RCH) is encouraging local residents to take a step toward better health with Walk with a Doc, a health program that brings doctors and patients together to walk every second Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m.
