Body The Woodston Fire Department was called out at 5:28 p.m. on Friday, September 17th for a pasture fire at Q and 27 Roads. The fire was caused by a lightning strike.

Body Sheriff Gary Knight was at the Rooks County Commission meeting held on Tuesday, September 14th to talk about line items for the 2022 budget dealing with the GIS funds.

Body The Stockton Fire Department was called to give mutual aid for an anhydrous leak at Woodston on Friday, September 10th, but did not have to go since they received a 10/22 before they left Stockton.

Body The Stockton Recreation Commission will be hosting an Adult Softball Tournament on Saturday, October 16th in Stockton. The cost is $150.00 per team with registration due by Wednesday, October 13th. There will be a two-game guarantee using SRC Adult League/USSSA rules.
