One of the first calls for the Stockton Fire Department wasonTuesday,April 2nd, at 2:25 p.m. for a grass fire at O Road between 23 and 24 Roads. The firefighters were on the scene for approximately one and a half hours.

Jeff Van Dyke called the regular meeting of the Rooks County Board of Directors meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. The other board members present were Charles Allphin, Charles Comeau, Brad Plumer, and Jon Voss.

The March 18th meeting of the Crossroads Quilt Guild was brought to order at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments from Karen McCune and Diane Maddy. Roll Call was taken with 19 answering and five showing their latest creations.
