Fielzah Creighton takes on a marathon challenge

Third & Final Installment Have you gained any new friends through this experience? If so, where do these friends reside? I met and interacted with runners from all over the States and the world in Chicago. I met a runner from Thailand who just completed her Berlin Marathon in September and was in Chicago for her second Star in the quest for the Six-Star Finisher medal.
TAKING IN THE VIEW from The Ledge, a 1.4-inch thick glass balcony jutting 4.3 feet from Chicago’s Willis Tower Skydeck’s 103 floor at 1,353 feet from the street below, are Jayana Creighton, Stephanie Hoang, and Fielzah Creighton. Stephanie is one of the four runners from the Runstreak group that Fielzah got to meet.

Dale Anderson: “Back in 1974, President Richard Milhouse Nixon said, ‘When there are those who hate you, do not hate them back or else they win.’” Danny Miller: “I have enjoyed the article on the Fielzah Creighton’s Chicago Marathon. Trenton, our son from Colorado Springs, told me recently he has signed up for next year’s Chicago Marathon as a ‘guaranteed’ participant. And yes, Thui and I plan to go!”

Hobart Homemakers FCE

Body
The Hobart Homemakers FCE group met at the Stockton Church of Restoration for the October 23rd, 2023, regular meeting. President Susan Gartrell conducted the meeting, and we opened by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Acting secretary Janie Lowry did the Roll Call, and eight members answered, “How do you get your husband to go to the doctor?” The Roll Call opened up some great discussion, which led to Ruth Ann Bigge presenting her program on “Men’s Health, Cancer, Early Detection and Screening.” We learned a lot about how we can encourage our guys to keep a better check on themselves and get to the doctor for those regular health screenings.
