The Stockton USD 271 School board met on Monday, June 10th, with the first order of business to review the annual payments for the various school programs. The board members asked how a few programs are used with grade school principal Stacey Green to check on how they were utilized throughout the last school year.

The fifth annual Stockton Recreation Commission Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, July 20th, at the Rooks County Golf Course. The three-man scramble will start with registration at 8:00 a.m.

Bryant Muir of Stockton was recently promoted to Vice President and Branch President of the Hill City branch of the First State Bank. Muir was born and raised in Stockton and is a 2001 Stockton High School graduate.
