Body Former Stockton resident, Vida M. (Hadley) Nyp, age 90, passed away March 21, 2022, at the Midland Care Hospice House in Topeka. She was born March 21, 1932.

Body Elaine (Markley) Dopita, age 90, Hays, passed away peacefully in her home on March 19, 2022 after a long and brave battle with cancer. She was born February 26, 1932 in Plainville to Earl and Agnes (Cobb) Markley.

Body Jean Berland, age 93, Hays, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at Homestead of Hays.

Body Michael “Mike” Dean Simon, age 71, of Plainville, passed away on March 17, 2022, at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas surrounded by his life long best friends and loved ones. He was born on December 27, 1950, to James and Lola (Nichols) Simon in Wichita, Kansas.

Body Allaire Thomas Homburg was born on November 7th, 1944, in a rock house a half a mile north of St. John’s Lutheran Church and passed March 16th, 2022 at Sheridan County Medical Center. His father August was the first child born in this rock house and Allaire was the last.

Body Brenda Jo Garcia, age 68, received the room the Lord prepared for her March 11, 2022. She was born to Betty (Glendening) and Duane Hunter on February 9, 1954 in Phillipsburg. She was a graduate of Beloit VoTech.

Body Robert (Bob) Lee McClellan passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on August 28, 1929 in a farmhouse north of Zurich, Kansas to Arthur Lee (Lee) and Meda Velma (Velma Pywell) McClellan.

Body Paul D. Berkley, age 91, formerly of Downs, passed away March 6, 2022. He was born October 5, 1930, on a farm near Tescott, the son of H.J. and Paulina (Boller) Berkley. He was a retired banker and lawyer.

Body Evelyn Ada “Bum” Goll, age 97, of Phillipsburg, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Phillipsburg. She was born on July 27, 1924, to William “Mackie” and Jessie (Christoffersen) Madison in Phillips County, Kansas.

Body Former Palco resident, Robert "Bob" McClellan, Wichita, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Peace of Mind  Home in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 92. Arrangements are pending with Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home in Plainville.
