Body Leland Steven Dix, age 73, of Ellis, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas. He was born January 13, 1949 in Phillipsburg, Kansas, the son of Leonard F. and Lula Jane (Richardson) Dix.

Body Rita Joan Hrabe, Stockton, passed away on January 30, 2022, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville at the age of 86.

Body Margaret “Edna” White Blauer Gartrell passed away at the age of 105 on January 29, 2022 in Stockton, Kansas. She was born in Jewel County, Kansas on August 8, 1916 to Charles Ernest White and Martha Emmer (Crumley) White.

Body Margaret Nix, Smith Center, passed away Jan. 21, 2022, at the Smith County Hospital in Smith Center at the age of 66. She was born August 4, 1955, the daughter of E.B. & Annie (Simmons) Smith.

Body Earl L. Chesney, age 71, of Natoma, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the Redbud Village in Plainville. He was born May 27, 1950, in Hays, Kansas. He was one of five sons born to Homer Bruce and Eileen (Meyers) Chesney.

Body Ray Dobson, age 86, Hays, was swept up by angels on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, to go to his eternal home to be with Jesus.

Body Glenda Lee Goheen, age 63, of Hays, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Hays Medical Center. She was born September 16, 1958, at Plainville, Kansas, to Glen F. and Geraldine J. (Couture) Warren. She married Darrel Goheen on September 8, 1984, at Hays, Kansas.

Body Mary Elaine Lawson, age 70, of Hays, Kansas died Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Locust Grove Assisted Living Center, LaCrosse, Kansas.   She was born September 9, 1951, at Stockton, Kansas to Myron F. and Gladys Mae (Bailey) McDowell. She married David E.

Body Noelle Louise Vohs, Brownell, Kan., passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, from a short battle with cancer at Hays Medical Center, at the age of 56.

Body Al was a beloved husband, father, grandpa and a special friend to many in the Verdes Community and around the country. Forrest Alan Stamper, age 78, of Tonto Verde, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 following a lengthy illness.
