The Plainville City Council began its regular monthly meeting on September 1st by approving the Consent Agenda, which included the August 18th minutes and bills paid totaling $63,560.27. The next item on the agenda was the RNR Public Hearing.

The Stockton City Commission meeting on Tuesday, September 1st, began with a Public Hearing on exceeding the RNR (Revenue Neutral Rate) for the 2027 budget year. City clerk Kayla Hilbrink said she had worked to lower the rate from what was published in the newspaper. It went down from 61 to 58.953.
