Body TATE ALAN BECKER was the first baby born in 2022 at Rooks County Health Center. He was born on January 3, 2022, to his proud parents, Garrett and Kari Becker from Stockton. Tate has one brother and two sisters.

Body (Continued From Last Week) April 1—Stockton Seniors Leighton Colburn, Brayden Wallace and Logan Winklepleck were named Kansas Honor Scholars. Marjorie Mae Jones, Emery LaVerne Hart, Lester “Lee” Smith and Betsy “Betty” Jan Sell Cunningham passed away.

Body The Stockton Fire Department was called out approximately 11:30 Tuesday morning, January 4th, for a possible structure fire at 422 Main Street in Stockton. Smoke was visible from the old Smith’s building once the front entrance was opened.

Body The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Nov. 17, 2021, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.
