The Stockton High School Girls Track Team came home with a second-place plaque from the Logan High Invitational track meet held last Tuesday in Logan. The Lady Tigers scored 98 points, coming in behind Osborne who won the meet with 122 points. Golden Plains finished third with 79 points.

Creighton and Basart win at Rock Hills Invitational

Jalia Creighton and Rylan Basart each brought home gold medals, while also PRing, last Friday when Stockton was in Mankato for the Rock Hills Grizzly Invitational track meet. Creighton won the 100M Dash, while Basart won Shot Put. The Tiger girls ended up placing fourth with 14 teams competing in the meet, and the Stockton boys finished 12th.

RoCo girls fall to the TMP Lady Monarchs

The RoCo Softball Team was in Hays last Tuesday for a doubleheader with the TMP Lady Monarchs. The games were originally scheduled to be played in Plainville, but were moved to Hays due to the weather’s effect on the fields.

Weather forces track meet at Quinter to end early

The Stockton Tigers traveled to Quinter last Friday for the Quinter High School Invitational. Once again the weather wasn’t real conducive for a track meet, but this season dealing with inclement weather is becoming the norm for the athletes.
