Body The Stockton Tigers hosted the Osborne Bulldogs on the gridiron last Friday night, falling to the quick Bulldog team 54-0. Stockton trailed 30-0 after the first quarter before going on to lose 54-0. With the loss, the Tigers fall to 0-2 on the season.

Body The Stockton Lady Tigers finished second at the Trego Volleyball Tournament last Saturday, earning themselves medals.

Body The Ellis Railroaders came to town last Thursday for junior high volleyball and football action again the Stockton Tigers. On the volleyball court the Lady Tigers fell in the A-Team match 16-25, 25-27, but captured the B-Team match against Ellis, 25-22, 16-25, 15-11.

Body Last Tuesday the Stockton Lady Tigers hosted Hoxie and Phillipsburg in a triangular, their only home match of the season. Stockton played Hoxie in the first match of the evening and fell 7-25 in the first set, and 21-25 in the second set, after leading 14-7 early.

Body It was a beautiful night for football and fans were excited to be back in the stands at Tiger Stadium last Friday night for the 2022 football season opener against Logan/ Palco.

Body Last week’s SHS Tiger Football signature ad, which included the 2022 roster, was missing a name. Ryan Mongeau, a 5’7”, 280-lb.

Body Coach Matt Perry’s last year at Stockton was the 1997-98 school year. His 1997 Tiger football team was featured in Day 8 of his “31 Days of Football.
