Ruth Laverne (Taylor) Starkey, of Russell, Kansas, passed away March 19, 2023, at her home in Hutchinson, surrounded by family. She was born June 6, 1930, in Plainville, Kansas, to Ellery and Esther Grace (Blauer) Taylor.

Rita Elizabeth (Hogan) Malin of Lawrence, Kansas, and former Plainville, Kansas resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 1, 2023, at Bridge Haven in Lawrence, Kansas. Rita was born to Bill and Rita (Lindley) Hogan of Natoma, Kansas, on August 9, 1933.

Jessie E. Salley Jr., age 80, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

Betty Lee Marshall, 94, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Wichita. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside Service will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 27, 2023, at the City of Stockton Cemetery, Stockton.

Mason Zackary Givens, age 17, of Colby, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023. He was born August 23, 2005, in Colby.

LaDonna Rae Schnuerle, of Stockton, passed away on March 20, 2023, at the Rooks County Hospital at the age of 89. She was born on September 13, 1933, to Ray and Gertrude (Wildrex) Ives in Stockton, Kansas. She married Wayne Schnuerle on October 31, 1953, in Stockton.
