Kathleen “Kathy” Diane Stice, Stockton, passed away on September 6, 2020 at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas, at the age of 64.
She was born on February 7, 1956 to Franklin and Ruby (Allene) Smith in El Dorado, Kansas. Kathy was united in marriage to James “Jim” Stice on February 14, 1976. They were blessed with three children: Jared, Jacob, and Kyleigh.
Ruth A. Winters, age 71, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020, at her home in Russell.
She was born January 25, 1949 in Stockton, Kansas, the daughter of Lorraine Edward and Eunice (Maddox) Williams.
Ruth married William Winters in Osborne and to this union, five children were born: Correna, Robert, Angela, Michael and Michele. They separated when the twins were two months old and later divorced.
Alec Paul “Putts” Hrabe, Stockton, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in Rooks County, at the age of 57.
He was born to Doyle and Dorothy (Thyfault) Hrabe on April 23, 1963 at the Hays Hospital in Hays, Kansas. He was united in marriage to Vicky (Rockford) Hrabe on June 11, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alec had three children: Brock, Jeremy, and Jordan.
Longtime Stockton resident Laverne Mae Merklein, age 80, passed away on September 7, 2020, at Hays Medical Center in Hays.
She was born on December 4, 1939, in Norton, to Ernest H. and Mathilda (Tillie) M. (Vogel) Grau.
Former Stockton resident, Ruth (Williams) Winters, age 71, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020, in Russell.
She was born January 25, 1949, the daughter of Lorraine and Eunice Williams.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 5th, at 10:00 a.m., at the Assembly of God Church in Stockton.
All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Smith Center, is in charge of arrangements.

Vicki Ann Richards was born March 25, 1953 in Quinter, Kansas to Howard and Marjorie (Hockman) Richards. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 28, 2020.
She graduated Hill City High School and married her high school sweetheart, Roy Cooper, on June 10, 1972. Vicki wore many hats over the years but none better, or more important to her than wife and mother.

Altha Elaine (Ives) Yoxall, age 92, entered into rest on Friday, August 28, 2020, at the Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas.
She was born in Hays, Kansas on June 29, 1928 to Harold and Hilma (Fischer) Ives.
She was a 1946 graduate of Stockton High School, Stockton, Kansas, and graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1983 with her Associate's Degree in Nursing.
On December 28, 1946 she married Edward Yoxall in Phillipsburg, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2004.
