After moving to Salem, teenager Max Dennison explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani and their new friend, Allison. After dismissing a superstitious tale Allison tells about the house, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal. This 1993 Halloween classic stars Omri Katz, Thora Birch, Vinessa Shaw, Bette Midler, Sara Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy and Sean Murray.

According to several reports, Kansas is forecast to harvest a record soybean crop this fall, with the corn production in the state expected to be down from last year. The state's anticipated corn production is down 2% from a year ago.

On the general election ballot on Tuesday, November 3rd, there will be three candidates vying for the two open seats on the Stockton City Commission currently held by outgoing commissioners Don McLaughlin and Sandi Rogers. Linda Lulubell Fry

Linda Lulubell Fry passed away on September 25, 2020 at the Solomon Valley Manor in Stockton, at the age of 73.

She was born on July 10, 1947 at the family farm in rural Natoma to Erle Edmond and Leona Martha (Chrisler) Beck. She was married to Harvey Fry on November 26, 1968 in state of Washington.
