The Empire Strikes Back

It’s the 40 ANNIVERSARY of “The Empire Strikes Back.” See it again on the big screen as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Chewbacca face an attack by the Imperial Forces and its AT-AT walkers on the ice planet Hoth. Then, while Han and Leia escape in the Millennium Falcon, Luke travels to Dagobah in search of Yoda. Only with the Jedi master’s help will Luke survive when the dark side of the Force beckons him into the ultimate duel with Darth Vader.

The Bureau of Reclamation recently announced $22.1 million in repairs and upgrades for Webster Dam in Rooks County, allowing for continued operation of the dam and protection for residents downstream.
