Bonnie (Gosser) Wyatt, of Plainville, passed away at the Rooks County Health Center on February 7, 2023. She was 91 years old.

She was born on Memorial Day, May 30, 1931, in Hays, Kansas to Theodore and Foila (Joy) Gosser.

From mid-June 1916 through early March 1917, the question of a new courthouse for Rooks County was being discussed. Rooks County was the only county in the Sixth Congressional District and the Thirty-fourth Judicial District that still needed to build a modern up-to-date courthouse. In February 1917, Stockton businessmen began discussing the matter of donating a suitable site for the purpose of building a new courthouse. It was decided to donate a location closer to the business section of Stockton if the county commissioners decided to build.

Bonnie Belle Wyatt passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville at the age of 91.

She was born May 30, 1931, to Theodore and Foila (Joy) Gosser in Hays, Kansas.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Plainville with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Funeral Services are planned for Monday, February 13, 2023, at Peace Lutheran Church in Natoma with burial to follow in Plainville Cemetery.
