SENATE HAPPENINGS

Virgil Elwood Sneath, age 89, of Quinter, passed away on January 30, 2023. 

He was born in Kaneer, Kansas on November 29, 1933. He graduated from Geneseo High School and continued his education at a vocational school.

Virgil was united in marriage to Joyce Sprick on December 7, 1978; they were married for 44 years.  He worked as an electrician for years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, stock car races, and football. He was also actively involved in Gove Community Bible Church.

Jack Lee Burton, age 74, of Plainville, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, at St. Frances Medical Center in Topeka.

He was born in 1948, the son of Ronald and Luella “Bebe” Burton.

Week of February 6

Monday—Breakfast burrito, fruit, milk.

Tuesday—Cook’s Choice, fruit, juice, milk.

Wednesday—French toast sticks, fruit, juice, milk.

Thursday—Go-Gurt, breakfast bread, fruit, milk.

Friday—Breakfast pizza, fruit, juice, milk.

Lunch

Monday—Ham and cheese pocket, steamed peas, sweet potato fries, salad, fruit, milk.

Tuesday—Chicken alfredo, breadstick, steamed broccoli, salad, fruit, milk.
