Area Fall Harvest Update
As of Monday, October 28th, the area fall harvest already stands at 100% of last year’s crop. The corn and bean harvests are almost completed, with the milo still coming in, with about 75% of the harvest done.

At the Rooks County Commission meeting on Tuesday, October 15th, the commissioners held a public hearing for the CDBG small city development grant for Richland Township to restore and repair the Damar Township Hall. Brian Newell was at the meeting to represent Richland Township.
City approves several requests during meeting
During the Stockton City Commission meeting on Tuesday, October 15th, Pastor Ted Stapleton was present to ask for help with the city utility bill for Blessed Beginnings Daycare. The facility is bringing in approximately $6,600.00 per month, with bills for $14,235.00 per month.

As of Monday, October 21st, the harvesting of the corn and beans in the area is about three-fourths complete. Milo harvest is around 50 percent done.
Stockton woman facing four drug charges
Brenna M. Bouchey, 34, of Stockton, was charged on October 10, 2024, with four counts related to the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from her residence in Stockton on July 26, 2024.
