Tax credits and 2026 holiday schedule discussed at County meeting

Body
The first order of business for the Rooks County Commission on Tuesday, December 16th, was a meeting with Rooks County EMS Director Pete Rogers, EMS Director Adam Comeau, and Rooks County Health Nurse Lori Eichman, who were present to talk about tax credits for the construction of two ambulance sheds. Rogers stated there is an opportunity to apply for the tax credit program in March, and they want to start working on a plan now for the information and pledge letters they will need to send to the Department of Commerce. To apply for the tax credits, the EMS needs an applicant, which would be the Rooks County Health Department. Eichman stated she has questions about being the applicant and what that would entail.
