Body An all-time event-high 26 teams from Rooks County schools competed last Wednesday, March 8th, at the annual Rooks County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge held this year at Palco High School. The 26 teams bested last year’s record of 18 teams.

Body During the Rooks County Commission meeting held on Tuesday, March 7th, commissioners Kayla Hilbrink, Tim Berland, and John Ruder voted to approve the public sale of the County's property at 1000 South Washington Street (Redbud Village and Estates) in Plainville.

Body ONCE ALL OF THE PAPERWORK for the demolition of the Trading Post building was approved, it didn’t take long for the Stockton City employees to quickly take down the structure. The building has been a safety hazard to the community in the past few years.
