The much-anticipated 2023 Kansas Upland Bird Hunting season is almost here. Pheasant and Quail Youth Hunting Season is this Saturday, November 4th, and Sunday, November 5th.

The Rooks County Commission met with interim road and bridge supervisor Tim Colburn at their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 17th for his weekly update. Colburn reported that the crew is still hauling material on 11 Road and the reclaimer and dozer are making rock for upcoming projects.
