Jordan Finnesy of Plainville is among almost 700 students who qualified for the President’s List at Washburn University for the fall 2023 semester. To qualify for the Presiddent’s List, a student must complete at least 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 4.0.

County tax revenues up $306,197.75 from 2022

Rooks County tax revenues continue to bring in more money from its taxpayers. To no surprise to anyone, the biggest increase in the Rooks County’s tax revenue for the 2023 was Real Estate, with an increase of $434,763.02, for a total of $9,201,469.71.
