(The following article is from the unapproved March 10th regular Woodston City meeting minutes.) The Council of the City of WoodstonmetintheCouncil Chamber at the City Hall on Monday, March 10th, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor April Yakish called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

THE EMPTY TOMB. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is more than a historical claim—it's the ultimate validation of who He said He was. In a world filled with religious leaders, prophets, and self-proclaimed messiahs, what sets Jesus apart? The answer lies in an empty tomb.

Follow the Spirit’s leading. A pastor or a close friend may have given us that excellent instruction, or maybe we have read it as part of our regular scripture reading. No matter the source, it is something that we should all seek to do.

THE ROAD TO THE CROSS. If a cure for cancer were discovered today, it would be front-page news.

President Susan Gartrell called the March 24th meeting of the Hobart Homemakers Club to order. Susan Thayer led the flag salute. The roll call was answered by nine members: 'Your favorite month of the year and why?' Last month's minutes were read and approved.

The Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) wants to remind utility customers that there are two important dates coming up that they should be aware of. First, the Cold Weather Rule ends on Monday, March 31.

Happy Sunday from McReynolds Farms. I say that most every week. But, that's where I am most of the time. Let's see. What been going on at the farm? It seems like there has been a lot going on this last week. The normal things and a few more that were surprising. But isn't that par for the course?

Folks in the area enjoyed breakfast for supper sponsored by the Palco Lions Club on Sunday evening, March 23rd at the Township Hall in Palco. The fare included pancakes, syrup and toppings, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls and fruit.
