The Woodston community population grew considerably this past weekend with the estate sales of Betty Vanderlip and Jack Imel. These can be fun events, renewing past acquaintances and visiting with neighbors, but also bringing sad memories.

HUDSON MUIR and his bucket calf Star took part in Thursday afternoon’s Beef Show at the Rooks County Free Fair. The name Star was chosen because the calf is so dark and it has the marking of a star.
