WHY ME LORD? Has it ever seemed like your life is falling apart? Maybe you're there right now. None of us enjoy trials. I like what God teaches us in James 1:2 'My brethren count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

Aubree Dewey and Macie LeMarr, both of Plainville, are among the students in the summer 2024 graduating class from Washburn University.

The monthly meeting of the Mt. Pleasant 4H Club was called to order on May 5, 2024, at Harding Hall at 5 pm. Hudson Kriley led the Pledge of Allegiance. Damon Muir led the 4-H Pledge. Then the club sang 'Happy Birthday' to Dayton Carpenter. Sixteen members and two leaders answered the roll call.

The Council of the City of Woodston met in the Council Chamber at the City Hall on Monday, August 12th, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Mayor April Yakish called the meeting to order.

The family of the late Dona and Nathelie Roy dedicated this beautiful bench placed in the new addition of the Damar Park shelter house on Sat., Aug. 31st.
