One definition of Theology is The study of religious faith, practice, and experience, especially the study of God and God's relation to the world. As part of our Christian faith, we are obligated to study our faith. The Bible is a gift from God. It does us little good if we don't use that gift daily to grow in knowledge and faith.

Card of Thanks

Body
I can’t say enough about the outpouring of kindness I have recently received from my family and friends. The cards, calls, visits, flowers and words of encouragement shown me following the losses of my son-in-law, Steve, and dear friend, Elna, and since my son, Rick’s heart attack have meant so much to me and will never be forgotten. I am blessed to live in such a caring community.— Dena Beck. 74c

The regular meeting of the Mount Pleasant 4-H Club was held on April 7, 2024, at 5 pm, at Harding Hall. Finley Peterson led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Lane Muir led the 4-H Pledge. Nineteen members and three leaders answered roll call. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as read. The treasurer's report was given. A balance of $2,870.69 was reported in the checking account and $1,500.96 in the savings account. In the leader's report, we discussed the summer party, in which we wanted to have a pool party and pizza. Next, we talked about making a sign and thanked everyone who helped add the ring. July 18 will be the Style Review. The prizes for the fair will stay the same as in most years. And there will now be a sign-up for round robin to have your animal used. The 4-H Council discussed the food stand change on Sunday at 4 pm, the Dog and Horse Show on Monday, volunteers in the morning, and Shooting Sports in the evening. The rest of the food stand will be as usual. In the Livestock Council report, April 8 is YQCA, and April 20 is the animal weigh-in. In New Business, Emery Peterson moved to have concessions for the style review that Hudson Muir seconded. Our next meeting will be on May 5. Our program was Jack Morgan doing a project talk on the Galeoian Telescope. An adjournment was moved by Damon Muir and seconded by Hudson Kriley. The meeting was adjourned.

What is absolute truth? Today, the meaning of the word truth has certainly become ambiguous for some. Some will believe about anything they hear or read. Searching for the absolute truth has become a lost art. However, as Christians, we must know and understand the absolute truth and stand up for what we believe.
