Former Stocktonite Philisene Probasco, 92, had moved to the St John’s Assisted Living Complex in Hays in 2009. Once she moved in she began walking inside the facility for exercise and kept track of her miles. In just 13 months she completed her first 100 miles and was challenging the other residents to get their exercise in!

Among the items stolen were $3,000.00 in Kansas Lottery tickets, several cartons of cigarettes, around $200.00 in cash, tickets to the Wild West Fest in Hays, $75.00 in quarters, cans of chewing tobacco, and $50.00 in change from the donation jar.
