Last Saturday, the Stockton Tiger Powerlifting Team traveled to WaKeeney for the Trego Golden Eagles Powerlifting Meet. Once again, Stockton made a good showing with Ava Dix placing First Overall and Cason Iwanski finishing Second Overall.

Carolina Northup and Ashlyn Hahn represented Stockton High School at this year’s 4-1A Girls State Wrestling Championships held last Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Tony’s Pizza Events Center in Salina.

The basketball seasons came to an end last week for both the Tiger Boys and Lady Tigers, after both teams fell in the first round of Class 1A, DI Sub-State Basketball Tournament.

Peyton Hardenburger, a junior at Wamego High School was recently named to MaxPreps’ “Best High School Softball Player in all 50 States” list as the top player for the state of Kansas.
