The Stockton High School track team traveled to Tescott last Thursday to compete in the Northern Plains League Track Meet, with several Tigers earning points in a strong showing against league competition.

The Plainville High School golf team turned in another strong performance Monday, May 4, competing in the 2026 Railroader 27 held at Ellis Golf Course in Ellis. Hill City won the tourney with a 469, while Hoxie was second with a 477.

The Plainville High School track and field teams turned in an impressive performance at Victoria’s Red Pfeifer Invitational held Thursday, May 7, with the Cardinal boys capturing the team championship and the girls placing runner-up.

The Plainville High School baseball team hosted Ellis High School last Friday, dropping both games of a doubleheader by scores of 15-4 and 16-7. The losses moved the Cardinals’ season record to 7-13 heading into postseason play.
