In their final home game of the season last Friday, the Stockton Tigers were shut out by the visiting Hoxie Indians by the score of 50-0. The game was called at the 9:18 mark of the third quarter, due to the mercy rule.

Last Tuesday the Stockton Lady Tigers were in Almena for a triangular with Logan and the Lady Huskies. Stockton’s varsity girls went 1-1 on the evening, defeating Northern Valley 25-23, 25-22, but losing to Logan 22-25, 21-25.

The Stockton Tigers were in Downs last Thursday for the Lakeside Cross Country Meet. Due to COVID-related reasons, the 32 registered runners split into two different races.

Mid-Continent League Volleyball Tournament action began last Thursday with the Stockton Lady Tigers traveling to TMP for pool play. In their first match, the Stockton girls fell to TMP 19-25, 6-25.

The Stockton Tigers made another impressive showing last Thursday at the Mid-Continent League/ Phillipsburg Invitational Cross Country Meet held at the golf course. Freshman Johnny Hamel placed fifth in both the MCL and Invitational meets, with a time of 19:07.

The Stockton Tigers hosted the Rawlins County Buffaloes last Friday night in non-conference, District 8 action with the Tigers being defeated 42-15. With the loss they fall to 0-6 on the season.
