Flyin' The Coop...Again!

Body Remember the little sayings, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”, or “Third time’s a charm?” The Bull City Opry Co. can only hope the third time is a charm as they try, try again to present the play, “FLYIN’ THE COOP,” aptly renamed “FLYIN’ THE COOP…AGAIN” this year.

RCHD sponsoring Health Fair Blood Draw Clinics

Body The Rooks County Health Department will be sponsoring blood draw clinics on Monday, August 9th at the Plainville Senior Center from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and on Tuesday, August 10th at the Rooks County Health Department from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

4-H Food Silent Auction to be held during the Fair

Body Make plans now to participate in the 4-H Silent Food Auction to be held during the Rooks County Free Fair. The ten items for auction will be on display in Harding Hall and ready for bids by Monday evening, August 9th. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13th.

4-H and FFA livestock Sale to be held Friday, August 13th

Body Come support the Rooks County youth at the 4-H and FFA Livestock Sale on Friday, August 13th. The event will be held at the Sutor-Blauer Arena at the Rooks County Fairgrounds. The Buyers’ Hospitality Hour will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the sale to start promptly at 6:00 p.m.
