Area Fall Harvest Update

Body As of Tuesday, October 12th, the Stockton Farmers Union Elevator has taken in 55,000 bushels of soybeans, 44,000 bushels of corn and 103,000 bushels of milo. Woodston Coop has taken in 78,000 bushels of soybeans, 67,000 bushels of corn and 5,600 bushels of milo.

KDOT announces approved September bids

Body The Kansas Department of Transportation recently announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Sept. 22, 2021, in Topeka.

Crossroads Quilt Guild

Body The meeting was brought to order at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 20th, 2021, by vice-president Lynda Falley due to the absence of president Karen McCune, with refreshments provided by Niki Meistrell, Linda Gilbert, Karen Baldwin and Berdina Whisman.

Body Condolences to the family of John and Alice Paulson of Wichita Falls, Texas. John was a brother of former Woodston resident, Lars Paulson. John was a 1947 graduate of WRHS who passed away September 26, 2021 at the age of 92. Richard Paulson is a nephew.
