Here is a question for you to begin the New Year: Have you given God permission to work in your life? So often we have expectations that if we just believe, good things will happen. The fact is, we need the Holy Spirit in our daily lives, and He is just waiting to be your Helper.

Woodston News

Body
Dan Melton came Saturday afternoon to help haul cattle to milo stalks. Before the job was finished, it naturally became dark, and what fun and a bit dangerous it was loading and sorting black cows with flashlights! I am overjoyed to be hauling water once again.

Royce Williams and his cigar-box guitars featured on HaysPost.com

Body
One of these days, Royce Williams is going to become so rich and famous we will all be seeking his autograph. Royce and his cigar-box guitars were featured over the weekend on HaysPost in a story written by James Bell. Bell came up to Stockton to visit with Royce and photograph his unique guitars. The featured photo in the story, however, is not even a cigar box; it is actually a toilet seat! His business, Royce’s CBGs, might suggest he builds guitars with only cigar boxes, but he can figure out a way to make a guitar with a variety of things, even an old book. Royce frequents second-hand stores, looking for just the right inspiration, not only for the guitars, but also for amplifiers which he builds with old suitcases.
