Body * The Plainville FFA Livestock Judging team had placed first in the Kansas FFA contest in Manhattan. The team members were Mark Westhusin, Aaron Markley, and Pat Burton with sponsor Marvin Hackmeister.

Body * Placing at the State Solo/Ensemble Music Festival were Dustin Chew with an I Rating for his baritone saxophone solo, Danielle Sherraden with an I Rating for her flute solo, and Amber Hageman with an I Rating for her vocal solo.
