Scheduled for completion in the summer of 2008, the new hospital was progressing despite bouts of wet weather. A Home and Garden Tour in and around Stockton was planned for July 1st, sponsored by the Sigma Phi ESA.

Last Friday night the Arch Harvey home, just east of town across the railroad track, was totally destroyed by fire with all its contents. The house was unoccupied that night, Mr. Harvey staying at the home of his stepson, Albert Thayer.
