Dear Editor: Eight years ago, I started EGA Service Center in Rooks County, and shortly after, I moved it within Stockton City limits. Over these past years, I have strived to e one of the most knowledgeable mechanics in the county as well as one of the most capable.

I would like to comment on the excellent research that Dale Winklepleck did in presenting the tax valuation issue to the Rooks County Commissioners. I am in agreement.

Hi, Sentinel Staff, Please accept my apology for being late in getting my renewal check off in the mail to you. And no, I can’t blame Uncle Sam’s system of transferring objects from one place to another.

Dear Editor: I am an SJH football player. I have recently noticed that you do not cover the junior high or high school games, or have very small articles about us.

Hello! I am contacting both of your papers this week (the Stockton Sentinel and the Phillips County Review) so that you know what I am up to, particularly since I will be walking from the Rooks County Courthouse to the Phillips County Courthouse on Wednesday, beginning sometime around 8:30 a.m.

Dear Editor: I read Sheila Latham’s letter to the editor in the July 28th edition of the Sentinel. She is absolutely right in all that she says.

When Dee and I began our teaching careers in Stockton, we knew we had come to a very special place. The school system was second to none. Its administrators ran a tight ship, and the teachers were some of the most gifted and caring people we had ever met. And we can't say enough

Re: Kansas Elections Dear Editor: We have a Primary Election coming up on August 2nd, and early voting is already open. I have always understood a Primary Election to be intended for loyal party members to voice their opinion on who will represent their party in the General Election.
