Three families are thankful to still have their daughters following a one-vehicle accident last Saturday evening that could have easily proven fatal had it not been for all three being properly restrained with their seatbelts.

The Stockton Fire Department was called out on Wednesday, September 2nd to cover a small fire that possibly started by an electrical line spark. The call came in at ap proximately 5:00 p.m. with the location of the fire one mile west of Stockton just south of Don Lucky’s.

The outlook for the 2020 Kansas upland hunting season is looking to set up to be another great year. The annual dove season began on Tuesday, September 1st and will run until November 29th. The daily bag limit of 15 applies to mourning and whitewinged doves, single species or in combination.
