Virgi’s Views On This ‘N That

* Alex Karev has left “Grey’s Anatomy.” I haven’t watched this TV series for quite a number of years, but I had to watch this one episode since it was about Alex, one of the few remaining original cast members that I liked. And it was so worth it because now he is with Izzy as he should have been from the beginning. Plus, I just want to say to “NCIS: New Orleans,” that is how you write out a great character since I am still upset they just shot and killed Christopher LaSalle! Yes, I am still upset about that! So here’s a relatable post I saw on Instagram that is perfect for how I feel…..“Excuse me favorite character, did I give you permission to die?”

A long trip, with some of it UNDER water!

We’ve seen such awesome sights on this U.S.A. Road Trip, but nothing like we are going to see this week Guaranteed! I don’t know if you’ve kept track of miles, but since the beginning of 2020 we have visited eight Stocktons and logged over 2,600 miles. Of course, before Christmas, the trip that started it all—Stockton, California, then Stockton, Utah—was more than 3,000 miles. So you know there must be something really special this week if it beats everything we’ve seen in more than 5,000 miles! And this is it: as we leave Stockton, Maryland this week and head to Stockton, Georgia, we are going to travel a little more than 750 miles, over land, over sea and UNDER the sea!

* This St. Patrick’s Day watch a few movie classics to celebrate the holiday. Here are my two favorites....”The Quiet Man,” and “Darby O’Gill and the Little People.” You can’t go wrong with John Wayne and Sean Connery!

Right off the bat I’m going to tell you: this trip from Stockton, New Jersey to Stockton, Maryland is going to be awesome! And if we were in my shoes for the duration of the trip. That’s what happens when us small-town Kansas really driving, my toes would be curled under folks take to the multiple-lane
