The #7 seed Stockton Lady Tigers traveled to Mankato Thursday night for their first-round of Sub-State Basketball action where they took on #2 seed host Mankato-Rock Hills at Mankato in the Class 1A Div. 1 Sub-State (Osborne site).

Junior Lady Tiger Olivia Dix was fouled on a last-second three-point attempt in regulation which sent her to the line with .02 of a second remaining in the game. As she has done for most of the season, Dix made all three free throw attempts to send the game into OT.

The Stockton Fire Department was called out at 4:24 p.m. this Thursday to a grass fire approximately 3 miles south of Stockton, along Highway 183. It is being reported as a grass fire in the west ditch.
